I made a new theme for the blog. :P I scrapped the demo awhile ago, and left this blog. There is some new stuff. A test demo was revealed at M:FM, let me put it here.

Hiatus

If you all haven't noticed, I took a big Hiatus from the project. This Hiatus is near ending, and I apologize for it being so long (Almost 4 months O.O!)

Leave suggestions and stuff below.

Demo Getting Progress

Ive gotten far with the design of the demo, but I am saving the tiling for last. The Demo has 4 short areas in it to explore.
SPOILER ALERT IF YOU WANT THE DEMO TO BE A SURPRISE:

The demo will contain 4 areas. Area 1 is a revamp of demo 1.2
Area 2 is a revamp of the 1st half of pirate metroid.
Area 3 is a revamp of the 2nd half of pirate metroid.
Area 4 is a hallway and then the final boss.

Music job is still open.

Thanks to AlexR (form MFM) the game received a big engine update.

Ok, since I havent posted in a while (progress was stalled) I have decided to give an FAQ

Where did you get the samus sprites?

A moderator called "Elpizo" from MFM made them for the project. They were not released to the public.

Will this be open source?

Maybe, maybe after the project is finished.

Is GBA1999 a temporary name?

That I am still thinking of.

What changes have happened over time?

Well, for one thing instead of taking place over several planets it now only takes place on GBA 1999. Samus has had a physics update, and the second non- desert area has been started.

When will the game be done?

I am not sure.

By the way, if anybody would like to compose music for the game that would be a great help, I need to rid this of the midis. If you are willing to compose music shoot me an email at ronny1413@aim.com for more details.
Oh, and maybe leave some more FAQ questions in the comments section, and some suggestions for the game.

I just wanna say I am entering Metroid: Comical in NFGC 2009.
Here's my question, and I want an answer from you.
What should I include?
A new demo?
Screenshots of the game?
A new Trailer?
All of those?
